Bradford Cyrenians is committed to breaking the cycle of homelessness through the provision of safe and secure housing, advice and support. Using an empowering approach we will work towards enabling vulnerable clients to find positive solutions whilst respecting their individual rights and choices.

Bradford Cyrenians was formed in 1972 in direct response to the lack of services for homeless people including a growing concern around rough sleeping in the Bradford district.

Bradford Cyrenians provides flexible, preventative support services to a range of clients, with differing support needs.

Bradford Cyrenians is committed to delivering a high standard of supported accommodation to vulnerable men, adopting a non-judgemental approach.    Our aim is to encourage individuals to take responsibility and enable them to develop life skills in a safe and non-threatening environment.

Bradford StreetReach Service

Bradford Streetreach service is for people aged 16 or over, it aims to assist rough sleepers and those at risk of homelessness.

Bradford Nightstop has offered free emergency accommodation to homeless young people aged 16 to 25 in the homes of trained volunteers,on a one night at a time basis, click here

 

Hope Housing have partnerd with a national housing charity called Green Pastures to byuy houses for homeless people. Support for the tenants will given by local churches trained up by Hope Housing

Hope Housing has setting up a project to house people in volunteers' homes around Bradford for 1 to 2 nights.  This will provide the much needed emergency accommodation and care, which is lacking in Bradford for people over 25.

Keyhouse Project HomeKey - The Keyhouse Project

Key House was established in 1985 as a 12 bed hostel for homeless young people. Our supported housing now includes a 12 bed Hostel for emergency use, three shared houses and 212 flats, click here

The Blenheim Project offers quality service provision for homeless women and children in Bradford, including temporary accommodation, childcare service, resettlement and community based support. Active commitment to equal rights is fundamental to the organisation.

Shelter is a charity that works to alleviate the distress caused by homelessness and bad housing.

Green Pastures was founded in 1999 we are a successful not-for-profit limited company based in Southport, England.

They partner with local churches & faith groups to establish pastoral care teams that assist tenants according to their needs. Green pastures formula works, and they are growing fast.

Green pastures property portfolio has grown from two - bedrroomed flats to assets valued at £12m. There properties are located in Southport, Bradford, Wigan, North Wales, Salford, Wakefield, Dartford, Brighton and Blackburn.

They comprise houses, flats and bedsits, tenants are allowed to remain in perpetuity. It is their home for as long as they wish.

The staff at Green Pastures also actively lobby politicians locally and nationally to engineer social change.
